Three engineers that dreamed of having their own enterprise and creating more jobs in their community launched a business they had no experience in: making Dulce de Leche and lots of sweet goods. They bumped into a whole lot of problems they did not foresee along the way, but never stopped dreaming and building, and today, they sell a delicious “cajeta” and dulce de leche with refined techniques and 20% less sugar than other similar products found in the market. This is not your generic fair sweets but rather a gourmet products that mix both tradition and delicate taste.
The name, Roble Rojo (Red Oak) was born as an homage to the massive amount of Red Oaks that surround the lands where these three entrepreneurs live and work. And because they are passionate about the natural sources that surround them, they used recyclable materials only.
